About

Kahrizak

Foundation

of Canada

In 1995, a small group of volunteers in Toronto, with a strong belief in and commitment to the principles that guide the work of Kahrizak Charity Foundation in Iran, organized and established Kahrizak Foundation of Canada. Their goal was to raise funds and make financial contributions to Kahrizak Charity Foundation in Iran with a focus on MS patients, as well as to raise awareness within the community about this organization through various means.

Kahrizak Foundation of Canada is not affiliated with any religious or political group. It achieved registered charity status in 2000 and has since been able to pursue its fundraising activities with more vigour.

Since its inception, Kahrizak Foundation of Canada has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through events such as bazaars, gala dinners, concerts, ladies nights and walks.

Kahrizak Foundation of Canada has a five-member board of directors who organize and oversee fundraising campaigns, work of volunteers and the overall management of the foundation.

Kahrizak Foundation of Canada operates with a minimum overhead cost. All individuals work on voluntary basis, minimizing costs through personal means and over 95% of funds raised are directly sent to Kahrizak Charity Foundation in Iran.
